                        Lynton & Lynmouth Housing Need Survey

 

REMINDER

Thanks to everyone that returned their housing survey forms. So far less than 20 have come back, and we are convinced that there are more people out there needing affordable housing , or wanting to move house from one owner occupied house to another. The sooner we know about what it is you need, the sooner account can be taken of it in the Neighbourhood Planning process. So, it’s not too late to send one in, do it now. These survey forms aren’t just for information gathering. They will be used by the Rural Housing Project to match up people to any affordable housing that does come forward, so you will stand a much better chance of getting the home you need if you let us have your details. Complete the form on this website and email it to: cbsavage@exmoor-nationalpark.gov.uk OR phone 01398 322249 to ask for another form.

 

A strong focus of the  Lynton & Lynmouth Neighbourhood Plan will be housing. We need to find out about the housing that is needed by local people, and who those people are. This could be affordable housing,  or  there  may  be  housing  for  people  wanting  to  downsize,  or  for  people wanting to work locally. Others may need to return to the area after living away for some time. Whatever the housing requirement, please let us know about it.

This survey is being carried out on behalf of the Lynton & Lynmouth Neighbourhood Plan steering group, by the Exmoor, North Devon and West Somerset Rural Housing Project (RHP) which is based at the Exmoor National Park offices in Dulverton.
 
Please complete the survey form if you will need to live somewhere else in  this  community  in  the  next  ten  years.  The  questions  are  for  owner  occupiers  as well as those renting. If the form does not give you the chance to say what you need, please just write it separately or in an email. It is important that you give the Rural Housing Project your contact details so that they can keep in touch. Any information you provide the RHP will be treated confidentially.

Please return your completed survey form as soon as you can as this will help to match people to any 'local needs' housing that does come forward. You will stand a much better chance of getting the home you need if you fill in the form below.
